When I first moved to Palm Springs, I saw these sand dunes off the side of the highway and asked "How do I get there?"  Well, it didn't take too long to figure it out, walk down the side of the highway under two bridges, over some barbed wire fencing, through a dry riverbed and 20 minutes later I was at my sand dunes.
     To me the wind represents power, and it literally is power in Palm Springs as giant farms of windmills harvest the energy and turn it into electricity.
